Vinnies Young Adult Conferences are groups of 18-35 years olds who identify needs in their local community and

develop programs to meet those needs. Home Visitation is the most common program in Vinnies. Pairs visit people

in their homes and provide both assistance and friendship. Vinnies Kids Camps provide disadvantaged kids with

a weekend or week away filled with sports, games, art and craft and lots of laughter! Vinnies Buddies Days give

disadvantaged kids a fun day out in their local area.

Vinnies also has lots of Young Adult volunteers involved in programs such as:

• SPARK refugee tutoring program

• Gardening ‘Green Team’

• Detention Centre Visitation

• Compeer Friend program for people experiencing mental illness

Vinnies provides all the necessary training, support and advanced leadership opportunities for all volunteers.
