Did you know that according to last year’s waste audit, 75% of the waste Wilson produces is either recyclable or compostable? Ain’t that cool? Let’s put our trash in the right bins and do our part to protect our environment.
In classrooms & offices, you can ONLY RECYCLE CLEAN PAPER PRODUCTS. Everything else goes in the black trash bins.
Okay to recycle in the BLUE bins:● paper w/ scotch tape or
staples● colored paper● post-its● paper w/ pen/pencil/ink
markings● crumpled paper ● cardboard
In the cafeteria & atrium, we will compost AND recycle! We need volunteers to help monitor the bins and educate students on the new program. If you’re interested and want community service hours, please tell us!
In hallways, teacher breakrooms, and common areas like Room 416, we will recycle clean paper products and empty containers (plastic, tin, glass) in separate BLUE bins.
Do you have ideas on how to make Wilson better? Do you want community service hours? If so...

Dr. Bryan Williams, noted educator and trainer, gave the keynote speech at Wilson’s June 2014 graduation. He advised us all to:
Be Consistently Exceptional
Be consistently exceptional—acting in an exceptional way will make you stand out from the crowd
Be Consistently Exceptional
Build relationships by adding value to them—everyone is important so give every relationship your time.
Be Consistently Exceptional
Believe that you have NO limitations—the only one who limits you is you, yourself. Decide to be great.
Be Consistently Exceptional
Act on this principle: Your job exists to do something for someone else. Make this a practice that you follow consistently.
Be Consistently Exceptional
Think about success today not as something in the future. What does success look like? Put forth your best effort so that you succeed in everything you do.
