Job Site InspectionBefore beginning the installation, ensure that the structural opening is the correct size and that there is adequate support for the entrance sill and header. The entrance must attach to masonry or heavy steel struts. Drywall and light steel studs are not sufficient support.
Also, the elevator must be assembled to a “working platform” stage which can be operated by temporary buttons mounted on the car.
