INTEGRATION OF H&S ACTIVITIES IN RESEARCH RESEA

• The Principal Investigator in a research project will take on the responsibility of applying H&S in all activities carried out by the team.
• Each project, in order to be approved, will include in the presentation report: - Identification of dangers - Management of dangerous residues generated - Existing and proposed preventive measures for their control - Necessary funds - Suitability of workplace or provisions for its fitting • The University will accredit, with H&S assessment, the suitability of provisions regarding
project H&S. • When investigators from different institutions come together in research activities, the
principal, together with the Main Investigator and the assessment of the H&S Department, will appoint a designated worker (supervisor) from the research team members.
