Setup (depend on our work structure & business needs)

KFF Definition

- Specify key flex field structure for Business Group.- Define key flex fields.

1- People Group.2- Cost Allocation.3- Bank Details.4- Job.5- Position.6- Grade.7- Competence.8- Personal Analysis.

Definition of People Group Key Flex field:

To define any key flex field we have to go to application developer responsibility.

Here is Application Developer Responsibility functions, Open Flex fields \ key\ Segments

Query the flexfield title field with our required flex field name like(People Group, Jop,…,etc)

To query press F11 then type the name of flex field title.

Press CTRL+F11 to execute and view query result.

Click on structure block then click on Add new icon on upper left side of screen.

Blank record will appear. we will add our new flex field there.

Fill the code field, when moving from this field, the title field will get the same name automatically, we can change it as our need. Description is optional, we can describe the flex field also as our need.

Note: there is (ALLOW DYNAMIC INSERT) check box; this check box must be checked.

Click on save icon to save the work or press CTRL+S. And go to Segment button.

Here insert the segment name, window prompt automatically will get the same name in name field.

Select the column name in column field where the value will be stored in the table in database.

Define the Key Flex Field value sets, click on value set button.

To define the value set we must insert:

- Value set name- Description. - List type.- Security type.- Format Type.- Maximum Size.- Validation type.

Save by click on save icon or press CTRL+S.

In case of validation type is dependence, we have to open the (Edit Information) button, to setup dependency information.

For all key flex fields value set we must define segment values.

To define the segment value for our defined key flex fields value set, steps below:

Open system administrator responsibility or application developer.

Let us use application developer responsibility.

- In the find value by area there is option buttons select value set.- In the name field type the value set name. and click find button.

- Add values for the segment.

Note: Same Steps we did to define People Group Key Flex Field will do to define any other Key Flex Field.

Business Group Definition

- Define locations- Define business group.- Define organizations.- Define organization hierarchies.

To define a Location we need HRMS Manager Responsibility, then (Work Structure\ Locations).

Business Group Definition:

To define business group we need also HRMS Manager Responsibility.

Then open (Work Structure\ Organization \ Description).

Find Organization window will appear.

In find window we can search by one of the following:

- Organization Name.- Organization Type.- Organization Location.- Organization Classification.

To create new or to define the new Business Group, click new button. The window below will appears.

we will fill all our required fields:

- Name of Business Group.- Start date of Business Group.- Business Group (Location and Location address).- Business Group type (Internal or External).- Business Group Classification (In Organization classifications HR Organization is required

to hire people in the Business Group, Also Business Group is required ). - Enable the required defined classifications.- Save what we did.- Click on Business Group classification then go to other button.- Next window will appear.

- Select Business Group Info.- Next window will appear.

Click on Business Group Info. Field. The below window will appear.

In this screen there is a Mandatory fields should be filled.

- Business Group Short Name.- Number Generation (Automatic or Manual) for (Employee, Applicant and Contingent

worker).- Flex fields Structures (which defined before or as Business Group Needs).- Legislation Code.- Currency.

Payroll

To define element we need HRMS Manager \ Payroll\.

To define payroll we must define the following:

- Payment Type.- Payment Method.- Consolidation set.

Consolidation set window:

Payroll definition window.

In payroll definition we will use our defined consolidation set and payment method.

Elements:

Define Element:

To define element we need HRMS Manager\Total Compensation\ Basic\Element Description.

- Define element Name.- Element Classification (Earning, Deduction,…,etc).- Type (Recurring or Non Recurring).- Skip rule in case of Recurring.- Input Values (by click on Input Values button).

Input Values:

Define or Write Formula:

To write formula open: Total Compensation\Basic\Write Formula.

Define formula name, and go to edit button to write the formula.

Below window will appear:

Here write the formula as required.

Open formula result window.

Here in this form we Link the defined element with defined formula.
