    upbringing.

Teachers and students of "Hristo Botev" school develop the four principles of modern

education - learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, learning to be, according

to the International Commission on Education for the twenty-first century by UNESCO. Our

educational activity with parents and students is particularly human responsible and democratic

mission, which aims "everyone can use their talents and potential and everyone can realize in

    the most deserving way ".

The motto of our school "Knowledge for the Future" inspires us:

    - То organize educational process competently on the latest pedagogical trends and effective

way so that children can grow up educated, competent and active citizens , ready to

communicate, acquire new knowledge, social and professional skills for globalized, changing

dynamically, full of information and problems life.

professional communication skills in different areas - social, professional and linguistic, learn

new strategies of behavior in order to realize successfully in the competitive and global labor

    market.

    - Our work aims not only help students to acquire knowledge, but seek and create good and

beauty in human works, in ethical relationships, in the ability to accept others and respect his

little world, be inspired by creative ideas and transform them into action which are useful for

human and the community. We want they feel worthy as the members of school, local

community and in the world, promote examples of doing good deeds, and on the other hand

criticize the inappropriate decisions and behavior. Our school is a small world in which teachers

and students are global citizens, able to communicate in it, show the specificity of our national

culture, and be touched by the achievements of any society with admiration and respect.

    - The basis of our educational work is the concern for every child so that they can develop their

abilities and talents in science, art, sports and social activities, create an opportunity to show

them and in this way get to know and improve their own personality. Develop the natural

creative impulse of children so that they can show it in the next stages of their lives.

  • The main building of the school is a cultural monument built in 1923 after the design of

architect Jordan Kapitanov. An assembly hall , on whose stage played the famous

Bulgarian actor Krastyu Sarafov, was connected to the main building in 1926. It was used

as the only town theatre for many years. After a long time of ruin, the old theatre was

reconstructed with the help of Professor Minko Balkanski, connected again with the school

building and there all school celebrations, students’ performances, concerts, conferences,

film screenings, parents’ meetings, current affairs classes etc. are held. There is a

permanent exhibition in the entrance foyer, and periodically exhibitions of students’ works

are made. During the reconstruction, the architectural features, characteristic for the

beginning of the last century, are kept. The modern sound-track technique, the spotlights,

the stage with an orchestra pit and dressing-rooms give infinite possibilities for creativity

    of students and teachers.

The building of the Primary school was built in 1920s. In 2013 it was reconstructed, and

the campus was aesthetically shaped and planted with trees and shrubs. Because of these

improvements it was nominated as Building of the year by the Municipality in Nova

    Zagora.

Both buildings are maintained in an authentic condition. On the first floor in the main

building, with the help of the students is formed “European Corridor”, which presents the

countries of the European Union. On the second floor there is a museum exposition about

the history of the school, a corner showing the achievements of students and teachers. Their

prizes and certificates are exhibited in glass-cases. Two corners, dedicated to Hristo Botev

are made, on the first floor with his bronze bas-relief, and on the second floor with his

photos. There are also pictures of school symbols and rites and photos of all head masters,

having taken part in working out the school history. There is an ethnographic collection in

the History study. In 2013, with donations, a monument of the patron of the school was

constructed and placed in front of the school. There is a rose garden in front of the main

building which is carefully kept and enriched, and cypresses were planted there by the

ecology clubs. Activities on different projects are exhibited in theme glass-cases. In the

building of the Primary school there are corners dedicated to Hristo Botev, the creative

works of the young students and their numerous prizes. Every classroom has a unique

Senovski, a former student of the school, and the emblem was created by Petar Kasherov,

student at that time. The motto was invented by Georgi Georgiev, a former teacher in

Bulgarian language and literature. The design of the uniform was approved after a students’
