Age Limit Relaxa'tion(a) 03 years for candidates belonging ~oOBC.(b) 05 yea~s for the candidates belonging to Se/ST category. ,.(c) Ex-servicemen Ex-servicemen who have rendered not less than six months ofcontinuous service in the Armed Forces shall be allowed to deduct. the full period of suchservice from their actual age and if the resultant age does I')ot exceed the prescribedmaximum age by more than three years, they shall be deemed to be within age limits. .

(d) SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved post are not entitled to anyrelaxation in age limit, experience etc.

4. Educational Qualification

Safaiwala Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognised University orBoard. ','

AC/Mech (A) Industrial training Institute Certificate in the appropriate / akin field or tradewith three year experience. OREx-serviceman in appropriate trade viz, Air Frame Fitter with five yearsservice.

Wireless OperatorMechanic (WOM)

Industrial training Institute Certificate in the trade of Wireless OperatorMechanic with two years experience. OREx-servicemen from Wireless Operator Mechanic trade with three yearsservice.

Radar Mechanic Industrial training Institute Certificate in the trade Radar Mechanic with twoyear experience. OREx-serviceman from Radar Mechanic trade with three year year-service. ,

Telephone OperatorGrade 11

Essential: (i) Matriculation or its equivalent with English as a compulsorysubject from a recognised institution.(ii) Proficiency in handling of Private Branch Exchange ,(PBX) Board from arecognized institution by the Central Government.Desirable: Fluency in spoken English.

Multi Tasking Staff(MTS)

Essential: (i) Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from. arecognised University or Board.Desirable: One year of experience' as Watchman, or l.ascar from anOrganisation or Institute. ;

5. Mode of selection..

(a) The eligible candidates will require 'to appear for written test. The written test will beba~d on minimum educational qualification..

(b) The written test will consists of (a) General Intelligence & Reasoning (b) Numerical, Aptitude (c) General English (d) General Awareness. '

3How to apply Eligible candidates can apply to any of the above Air Force Stations of'their choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications. Application as per format given under(typed in English/Hindi), duly supported with the following documents is to reach the concerned AirForce Station as per the choice within 30 days from the last date of the publication of thisadvertisement in the Employment News.

(i) Self attested photocopy of Date of Birth(ii) Self attested photocopy of Education Qualification.(iii) Self attested photocopy of Technical Qualification.(iv) Self attested photocopy of Experience Certificate.(v) Self attested photocopy of caste certificate issued by the Competent Civil Authority(only for SC/ST/OBC). In case of appointment of OBC candidates against their reservedquota, their caste should be listed under Central List of OBCs as candidates belonging tocastes listed under Central list only are eligible for appointment to the Central Services. Thelatest rules with regard to creamy layer in OBCs are to be followed.

(vi) Self attested photocopy of Physically Handicapped.(vii) Self attested photocopy of discharge certificate and Ex-serviceman certificate in caseof Ex-serviceman.

(viii) Application form duly typed in English / Hindi with recent photograph (passport size)self attested.

(ix) Any other supporting document (self attested).(x) Self addressed envelope with stamp(s) Rs. 5/- pasted. Address should be typed inEnglish / Hindi.

8. IAF will not be responsible for any kind of postal delay ...

9. Pre-scrutiny of the application will be carried out by the respective' station before' calling thesuitable candidates for the selection process / interview. .'

10. The centre for examination / interview will be intimated to the candidate in due course. Thiscentre may be different from the place to which the application was sent. This is done purely foradministrative convenience.' . .
