Our History Orochem Technologies Inc., established in 1996, is a biotech company that serves the bioanalysis, genomics, drug discovery, and the proteomics markets. The resulting hydrophobic surface is also stable over a wide pH range (2-9) to allow for excellent method flexibility. MatrixTM C18 AQ MatrixTM C18 AQ has been specifically designed for the analysis of polar analytes in high aqueous mobile phases. Matrix TM C18 AQ features the traditional C18 ligand interspersed with hydrophilic end-capping groups. The resulting material is easily wettable, and unlike conventional C18 materials, does not exhibit retention loss in high aqueous conditions.

MonitorTM HPLC ColumnMonitorTM is a top-quality phase, providing excellent stability and reproducibility, and minimal secondary interaction. Monitor is a perfect choice for reversed phase separations requiring thoroughly base-deactivated columns, and excels in challenging pharmaceutical and peptide separations. We developed MonitorTM expressly for the chromatography of difficult-to-separate samples. The spherical base silica is made using a two-step hydrolysis of high-purity TEOS under tightly controlled conditions. By using only high purity reactants to manufacture the base gel, excellent base-deactivation characteristics are achieved, and our reaction conditions are optimized to yield smooth pores with a narrow pore size distribution. Elimination of fines in the classification step results in columns of exceptionally low back pressure. Monitor columns have unsurpassed reduced surface activity, and excel in the separation of basic compounds, peptides, and amino acids. The OroSilTM columns are more polar than the OroPureTM columns but are less polar than the OroStarTM HPLC column chemistry.
