Valentino Fashion Group S.p.A designs and produces apparel and accessories for men and women for travel, business, leisure, and formal occasions. Valentino Fashion Group S.p.A was founded in 2005 and is based in Milan, Italy with additional offices in Paris, Hong Kong, New York, and Tokyo. Valentino wanted to transform the way it interacted with customers by expanding their presence of the web, developing a unique on-site showroom experience and creating a digital “look-book” that enabled review of new fashions only hours
after a fashion show in Paris.
Business Need Our HP team demonstrated how Valentino could achieve competitive benefits through a comprehensive transformation program. HP employed differentiated assets, accelerators, capabilities and a team of experts to facilitate the changes.
• HP Enterprise Services released an innovative IPad consumer application for Vogue Fashion Night in September 2010.
• In October 2010, a second IPad application was designed and delivered for the showroom to support sales department B2B processes.
• HP Enterprise services is continuously supporting and enhancing the solution
Featured Services & Technologies
• Applications Development Services
• Application Management Services
HP Solution
• Improved Brand awareness due to expanded presence on the web using web 2.0 features.
• Improved sales presentation capabilities that also enable cross- and up-selling functions as well as wish list management and order tracking.
• Reduced post-production time via use of showroom application that enables digital “lookbook”. The book is ready in the 24 hours after the fashion show in Paris, saving both paper/printing resources and money
