How to safely recycle your EMPTY helium tank*Recycling programs vary by area. Please contact your waste management autority to verify that steel is accepted.

1) Fully open the green valve (A) by turning counter-clockwise until it stops.

You will need:1) Hammer 2) Flat-head screwdriver 3) Protective work gloves and goggles 4) Permanent marker

5) Put on protective gloves and goggles. Using a hammer and flat-head screwdriver, puncture the side of the small relief disc (D) on the back shoulder, and pry open. You may have to puncture the ring in a few places around the disc to fully remove.

6) Remove the disc by hand. Edges may be sharp, wear gloves and use caution.

7) Circle the open hole and write Empty directly on the tank. Dispose of with other recyclables.

2) Push down on the tilt nozzle (B) until hissing sound stops to release residual pressure.

3) Remove the tilt nozzle (B) by turning the white valve nut (C) counter-clockwise.

4) Your Balloon Time tank should now look like this.
