HOW TO: USE THE SNIPPING TOOL WITHIN PropertyEDGE® Image 2 Image 3 Image 4 Image 1 1. Open the Snipping Tool by clicking the Start button and searching “Snipping Tool(See Image 1) If you are using Windows 7, the screen will automatically go cloudy If Windows 8, you will need to select “New” for this to happen 2. From here you can left-click and hold the button down while you drag and highlight everything you would like in the screen capture in a rectangular snip (See Image 2) 3. If you would like to capture a different shape, click on the dropdown next to “New” on the Snipping Tool (oth- er captures are free-form snip, window snip and full-screen snip) (See Image 3) 4. Once you have released your mouse and you have your image, it will automatically be saved to your clipboard. Go to a document or email and paste (Ctrl + V) (See Image 4) 5. If you prefer to save it to a folder, go to “File” and “Save As” 6. You can also email it directly through the Snipping Tool; however, pasting it into an email conversation is more versatile

HOW TO: USE THE SNIPPING TOOL WITHIN PropertyEDGE®

1. Open the Snipping Tool by clicking the Start button and searching “Snipping Tool” (See Image 1)• If you are using Windows 7, the screen will automatically go cloudy• If Windows 8, you will need to select “New” for this to happen

2. From here you can left-click and hold the button down while you drag and highlight everything you would like in the screen capture in a rectangular snip (See Image 2)
