How to use Google docs 1. Open either Firefox or Safari (or Explorer at home) Open the Google Docs website (docs.google.com). Log into your Google account. If you don't have a Google account, create a free account. 2. If you don’t have a word processing program, create your first document by clicking on the "New Document" button at the top of the gMail page, then choosing the kind of file you want to create and click “Create New” from one of the three options--"Document," "Spreadsheet" or "Presentations." 3. Begin using your document just as you would a Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint document. Google docs are very similar to Microsoft programs. 4. Save your document by clicking on the "File" button and choosing "Save" in the drop-down menu. Click on "File" and "Rename." OR choose a file name and click "OK". To access documents you have saved, go to Google. Click on “More” Select from your choices in the drop down menu.

How to use Google docs

1. Open either Firefox or Safari (or Explorer at home) Open the Google Docs website

(docs.google.com). Log into your Google account. If you don't have a Google account,

create a free account.

2. If you don’t have a word processing program, create your first document by clicking on the

"New Document" button at the top of the gMail page, then choosing the kind of file you want to

create and click “Create New” from one of the three options--"Document," "Spreadsheet" or

"Presentations."

3. Begin using your document just as you would a Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint

document. Google docs are very similar to Microsoft programs.

4. Save your document by clicking on the "File" button and choosing "Save" in the drop-down

To access documents you have saved, go to Google.
