In a recent study (Thomson, 2005) it was argued that income from tourism had risen. However, others suggest income from this sector had fallen over the same period (Smith & Jones, 2005).

• Searching the database• Saving results to a file on your computer (usually as a .txt file)• Using the import page to –

transfer references to EndnoteWeb

• In other databases you would – • save results to a file on your computer

• In word, Endnote toolbar visible• Use toolbar to –

• search for references in your EndnoteWeb library• using your own keywords if you wish• select the item to insert in your text• click insert


• In-text citation and associated reference inserted automatically


• Select more than one reference to cite by selecting while pressing the ctrl key


• All the references selected appear in the in-text citation and the reference list


• Use the format bibliography icon to change the style of your citing and referencing e.g. to a numeric style

You can export references from EndnoteWeb onthis page

However, if exporting to Endnote Desktop • It is best to do this from within Endnote Desktop• Quicker and easier
