IonlywishI’dhadaccesstothiskindofknowledgewhenIgotstartedinnetworkmarketingover10yearsago-insteadofalltheguesswork,andpainfultrial&errorthatkeptmefeelingstuckandwonderingifIwasreallycutoutforowningmyownbusiness.WhenIfirststarted,IwasSOexcitedaboutthepossibilityofcreatingalifestyleoffreedomandflexibility.ButwhatIdidn’tknowisthere’sadirtylittlesecretinsideofnetworkmarketingthatnoonereallytalksabout......andthatisthat,contrarytowhatyou’veheard,itsimplyisn’ttruethat‘anybodycandoit‘andsucceed.

Totellyouthetruth,IwastakenbackbyhowhardIfoundit.Itkindofshockedme.Becausebelieveme,I’vehadsomeprettytoughtimesinmylife......likeputtingmyselfthroughuniversitywhileworkingfull-timeandbeingasoloparenttomythen18montholdtoddler....likelayingbleedinginaditchforover6hoursafterahitandrunaccident,andthenbeingconfinedtoawheelchairfor3months.SotherewasNOWAYIwasgoingtogetbeatendownbysomethingasseeminglysimpleasprospecting.Andyet...forthelongesttimetherealitywas...itwaswhippingmybutt!IttookYEARSoftrialanderroruntilIfinallystumbledacrossmyeverydayprospectingsuccessformula,andatlastdiscoveredtheeasywaytoconsistentlysignupmorepeopleandstartreallyenjoyingmybusinessagain–anditwassuchaRELIEFthatprospectingdidn’thavetoSOHARD.Andthat’swhyI’msopassionateaboutsharingmyformulawithyou.Becauseit’sactuallySOEASYtoprospecttherightwaythatgetsgreatresults–andAVOIDthatwholescenariothatleavesyoudoubtingyourselfandfeelingrejected,strugglingtogettractionwithyourbusiness.Addtothatthechallengethatyoumaynothavetheunwaveringsupportofthepeopleclosesttoyou.Soyoucanseewhyit’sveryimportanttohaveasystemthatteachesyouthespecifichow-to’sthatmakeprospectingeasyANDsupportsyourspirit.InnerGamealignedwithOuterGame....that’sthecombinationthatmakesthisreallywork.

overwhelmedandtired.Itfrustratesyou.Itmakesyoulosethingsandwastetime.Itruinsyourfocusandconcentration,drawingattentionawayfromwhat’simportant,andimpairingyourabilitytothinkcreatively.AndJoyceMarter,LicensedClinicalProfessionalCounselor,said,“Ourenvironmentisadirectreflectionofourinternalmentalhealthandviceversa.Soifourhomeisdisorganized,ourmindsmayfeelscatteredaswell.”SoifyouoperateyourBUSINESSfromhome,thenthoseprecioushoursthatyoucommittogrowingyourbusinesscansliprightthroughyourfingersifyou’reconstantlyfirefightingdisorganizationandscatteredpriorities.That’sespeciallytrueifyou’rejugglingyourregularjobalongwithfamilycommitments,runningthehousehold,preparingmeals,etc.andtryingtofindtimetodedicatetoyourbusinessaswell.Believeme,I’veexperiencedthealmostmagicalpowerofgoodorganizationinmylife.AsIspokealittleaboutearlier,whilemynow-grown-upsonwasjustatoddler,IwasafulltimeworkingsinglemomstudyingtowardaUniversitydegree.YearslaterIachievedcertificationsforNutritionalConsultingandCertifiedCoaching,wrotetwobooksandre-locatedgeographicallytwice,whilerunninganofflineandonlinebusinessandlaunchingproductsatthesametime.My(not-so)secretweapontopullingthisoffwithoutahitchcamedowntogoodold-fashionedorganization,whichgavemecontrolofmyspaceandmytime.ThesearethethreedistinctareaswhereyoumustGETorganizedandSTAYorganized:#1-YourHome&FamilyThisisaboutYOUcreatingsimpleroutinesthatsaveontimeandeffortspentrunningyourhome.Suchas...decluttering(sothingsareeasiertolocate),suchasdevelopingthehabitofmulti-taskingvariousto-doitems.Andofcourse,structuringyourday-to-daychoresandresponsibilitiesinawaythatgetsthemdonemoreefficiently.#2-YourBusinessThekeyhereispriorities.Howareyouspendingyourtime?Areyouwastingtimedoingthingsthatdon’tgenerateincome,orthatsomebodyelsecouldeasilydoinhalfthetime?Iactuallydevelopedanexercise,called‘QuestforTime’,thatIteachonmyprogram,thathelpsyoupinpointexactlywhereyou’respendingtimeonthingsthatdon’tserveyourgoals.Becausewhenyou’reclearonwhereyouSHOULDbefocusingyourenergy,(andputtinginplacebusinessbuildingsystemsthathelpyoumanageyourtimebetter),you’llseeasharpincreaseyourproductivity-gettingsomuchmoredoneinlesstimewithlessstress.
