Overview

Step 1

Put thread on the spool pin.

Step 2

Wrap thread around thread guide, and down through the next loop.

Step 3

Wrap thread around the second thread guide. Most of the time this will be around the tension control, but not always.

Step 4

Put thread through the take-up lever eye. Make sure the take-up lever is up before you put the thread through.

Step 5

Put thread through thread guide, then through the eye of the needle.

Ready to sew

You are now ready to sew!
