How to set up ICT Office Mail to your iPhone
Turn off Wi-Fi: Settings>>Wi-Fi
Turn off Cellular data: Settings>> Cellular>>Cellular Data
Go to Settings>> Mail, Contacts, Calendars>> Add Account>>Other
Add Mail Account
Name: <Your full name>Email: <Your ICTO email address>Password: <Your ICTO email password>Description: <Your personal description of this account>
Then click Next On New Account see to it that IMAP is highlightedName, Email and Description should be what you entered in the first “add mail account”
On “INCOMING MAIL SERVER” enter the following:Host name: liham.icto.dost.gov.phUser Name: <your ICTO email address>Password: <your ICTO email password>
On “OUTGOING MAIL SERVER” enter the followingHost name: liham.icto.dost.gov.phUser Name: <your ICTO email address>Password: <your ICTO email password>
Then click Next An error message will appear just click OK
Click Next until the save button appears, then click Save
The IMAP screen will appear then click save
You will then be directed back to the “Mail, Contacts, Calendar” settings
Click the account you created (your personal description) and the Account setting will appear
Click the IMAP setting with your new account and the Account screen will appear
Click <SMTP liham.icto.dost.gov.ph >; the SMTP setting will appear
On PRIMARY SERVER, click <liham.icto.dost.gov.ph>
The “liham.icto.dost.gov.ph” setting will appear Turn on Use SSLAuthentication: choose passwordServer port: 587
Click DoneAn error message will appear; just click OK. Click Next until the save button appears; click Save
You will then be directed back to SMTP setting. Just click Account
Scroll down and click Advanced
At the Advanced setting, scroll down until you see INCOMING SETTINGS
Turn on Use SSLServer Port should be read 993. If not, change it to 993
Click Account
You will be redirected back to Account setting; click Done
An error message will appear; just click OK. Click Next until the save button appears, then click Save
Now you can turn on your Wi-Fi or your Cellular Data (whichever you use to connect to the Internet)
From the main screen, click the Mail icon, then choose <Your personal description of this account> to check your email
