How to save a SolidWorks part to be Laser Cut:

1. Create your part

2. Once extruded to thickness put your part in the view that will be cut.

3. This file would be the front face of the circle.

4. Click File> Save As and select .dwg from the dropdown menu and click Save.

5. From the side panel select current for the face and annotation views

6. Once you select the check there will be a pop up box with the file. If this is not how you would like your part cut repeat steps again.

7. Select save and fill out the laser cutting form and email file to [email protected].
