Sunday’s Sermon HOW TO PRAY SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS WEEK... This Sunday’s Music SONGS OF WORSHIP As we prepare for the moment of corporate worship, spend time meditating on the lyrics from some of our songs of worship. 1. Pray for those who will lead in worship: • Bob Bolander • Bryant Jones and the MBBC Worship Ministry 2. Pray that as we gather God will give us ears to hear, eyes to see, minds to understand, and hearts to obey! 3. Pray that Jesus Christ will be exalted through the Church gathered at MBBC. 4. Pray for Jared and Joelle Allen, and their young children, as they embark on God’s journey for their lives on the mission field. Begin preparing for worship this Sunday by prayerfully reading Psalm 42 and 43. The topic of our message will be “Surviving Times of Spiritual Drought.” As you read these Psalms, take special note of the author’s feelings toward God. Think about the experiences of the Psalmist and the emotional ups and downs. How does he describe his own soul? How does he describe God? Where does he find help and hope? Have you ever felt like the Psalmist does? Have you ever been through times of spiritual dryness? If so, how did you respond? Where did you find help and hope? As we approach this very helpful and honest text this Sunday, pray that God will do a deep work in our hearts and allow us to find our hope in Him! Also, because we are having a guest speaker, there will be no Truth and Response questions. For this reason, please take careful notes on Sunday so you can discuss the sermon and its application with others. Patriotic Medley Arranged by Camp Kirkland Feat.
