PRE-OPERATIVE PROCEDURE (Before the Surgery)STEPS DURING THE SURGERYPOST OPERATIVE PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

• Wear Surgery gown.• Patients need to be administered General anaesthesia by injection

and inhalation mask.• Shave the chest region and area of the body from which graft vessels

will be removed.• Apply a anti-septic solution and place a sterile drape around the

operative site.• Incision at those points like leg, chest etc from where the blood vessel

has been taken will be sutured.

BEFORE THE SURGERY..

STEP – 1: Vertical Incision on the center of the chest.DURING THE SURGERY

STEP-2: Pull back skin & tissue, expose breastbone

STEP-4: Incision in the peri-cardium of the heart.

STEP-5: Hold the Peri-Cardium back to reveal the heart…
