How to make the Putco LED 230921W-360 lights work in the FJ Cruiser

Follow these steps to remove the factory incandescent reverse light.

1. Locate access panel (Figure 1)

2. Remove panel to access lights

3. Remove the top-most light. The other two lights are the turn signal indicator and the brake

light. Ensure that you remove only the reverse light.

4. Pull the OEM light out of the socket

5. Take note of the wire orientation on the base of the bulb

6. Now compare to the wires on the base of the LED light.

7. You will need to find the end of the wire on the LED light, and bend it around the blade to make

a “U” shape.

8. Once you make the adjustment to both wires, you can plug it in to the socket and reinstall.|
