Step 1First fill mold with

sand.

Scoop out a flat area.

Press down objects and remove to imprint or leave in to embed.

Step 2Fill the mold with

plaster of Paris. Use enough to cover the sand completely.

Step 3 Let sand casts dry

overnight.

Step 4Over a drop cloth,

turn fossils upside down to remove excess sand.

Use a paintbrush to brush away remaining sand.
