President University, as an international university, is highly
concerned about the knowledge, technology, and physical development
as a part of the education process. To support both its vision and
mission, President University equips its students with first class
facilities to support their learning process and personal
development. One part of the support facilities and learning
activities are collage chair. Students at President University will
always be met with this one object within the learning process that
they follow. The chairs in the university president specifically
designed by the producer and will not be found at other
universities. It aims to make students comfortable in their
learning process. The authors are attracted to know more about the
chair contained in President University. Of course it is important
that authors and readers can utilize the advantages of this seat
with more leverage. And also will be useful for writers and readers
to be able to overcome its shortcomings. Therefore here the author
will reveal "How to make a president universitys chair". Hopefully
this paper useful for writers and readers in general

INTRODUCTION
1.1 Problem backgroundChair is the simple thing but one of the
most important part of education in President University. The chair
that use in President University is the tools we use every day in
learning process. But, is it comfortable to using? Actually it
chair is better than the other chair from other university. Because
it design spesifically from the company. But, nothing perfect in
the world. Something weak still found in this product. Why? And how
to make it? Oke we will discuss in this project

Chapter 2 LITERATURE RIVIEW
2.1 Definiton of engineering design processTheengineering design
processis a methodical series of steps that engineers use in
creating functional products and processes. The steps tend to get
articulated, subdivided, and/or illustrated in a variety of
different ways, but regardless, they generally reflect certain core
principles regarding the underlying concepts and their respective
sequence and interrelationship. Also, the process is highly
iterative - i.e. parts of the process often need to be repeated
many times before production of a product can begin - though the
part(s) that get iterated and the number of such cycles in any
given project can be highly variable.
2.2 Definition of President Universitys chairPresident
University's chair is a collage chair that use for all learning and
meeting process in President University. Designed specifically only
in President University and will not be found in any other
university. A chair with a table for study as well as in the
collage chair in general, but with different strengths and
uniqueness that distinguishes it from other similar products.
CHAPTER 3 DISCUSSION3.1 Adventages and weakness as well as how
to improve the weakness3.1.1 Adventages1. Sponge as a seatside and
backside is very comfortable 2. Distance users foot to the ground
is is make the user's feet comfortable 3. Tabble design is
flexible, removable table. So the chair can be used as learning
chair or formal event chair (when the user drop the table) 4. The
table can be rotated by a certain angle, making it easier for the
user in the learning process 5. The distance between the table and
the user's body is quite convenient for people who have a large
body3.1.2 weakness1. sometime its part separated from its chair
(between table and chair itself)2. feeling a shake. Either
vertically or horizontally wobble. Shaking in the vertical happens
Because The table is flexible, you can rotate it with the angle
that you like. Several but after time, that part feeling a shake.
Not strong anymore. And shaking in the horizontal happens Because
The pipe from the connected table and chair sometime separated. As
We've said in the first point.3.1.3 improvement1. make the pipe
longer, then we will use the bolt on the inside of the seat, more
precisely on the back of the pipe. So the table will still be
removed. However, to remove the need for tools. It is aimed that
the table will never be separated again by accident. It also would
eliminate the wobble horizontally. 2. after that we will make a
flat section of pipe under the table becomes wider area. It aims to
reduce the sway forward and backward (vertical) after a long time
its chair used.
3.2 Materials and machines that we use to make a President
Universitys chair3.2.1 Materials1. Sponge,2. Iron pipe,3. Iron
plat,4. Bolts & skrew,5. Ruber,6. Glue,7. Multiplex,8. Wood,9.
Vernish,10. Paint,11. Vinyl,3.2.2 Machines1. Bending MachineIts
purpose is to assemble a bend on a workpiece. A bends is
manufactured by using a bending tool during a linear or rotating
move. The detailed classification can be done with the help of the
kinematics2. Welding MachineIs a fabrication or sculptural process
that joins materials, usually metals or thermoplastics, by causing
coalescence. This is often done by melting the workpieces and
adding a filler material to form a pool of molten material3. Deep
Drawing MachineIs a sheet metal forming process in which a sheet
metal blank is radially drawn into a forming die by the mechanical
action of a punch4. Milling MachineMilling is the process of using
rotary cutters to remove material from a workpiece advancing (or
feeding) in a direction at an angle with the axis of the tool5.
Cutting MachineIs any tool that is used to remove material from the
workpiece by means of shear deformation. Cutting may be
accomplished by single-point or multipoint tools.
3.3 Steps to make a President Universitys chair1. Make the frame
from the chair, first we make the kick frame with the iron pipe,
using the cuting machine to cut the iron pipe then use bending
machine to bend the pipe become U-form. And make the suport kick
frame with the iron plate material using cuting machine to cut the
plate become thats form, then we joining with welding process,then
we painting this part, like the picture. (1)Then the second, we
make the connector around the kick frame from the same iron pipe
with kick frame. Using cuting machine to cut this iron pipe and we
make the support part with the iron plate material and use cuting
machine to make this plate become that form, then use drilling
machine to make holes for the bolts. Then joining those parts with
welding process. Then we painting this part. (2)Then the third, we
make the kick stand from the iron pipe with diameter 0.5 cm and
using cuting machine to cut this iron. And use the iron pipe with
diameter 0.3 cm to make the place for book with bending process.
Then after that we joining those part with welding process. Then we
painting tis part. (3)Then the fourth, we make the suport part for
the backside and seatside. We using iron pipe and using cuting
process to cut this pipe and use bending machine to bend the pipe
become L-form. And make the house skrew for suport the backside
chair from iron plate material and use cuting machine to make that
form and use drilling machine to make the holes for the skrew. Then
we joining those parts with welding process, then we painting this
part, like the picture. (4)Then the fifth, we joining the the all
parts from the frame. We joining the kick frame with the kick stand
(3) and the connector of kickframe (2). We use welding process to
jaoining the kick frame with the connector kick frame and for the
kick stand we just put the kick stand to the kick frame
hole.(5)Then we joining the the kick frame sheet (5) with the
support backside chair (4) with welding process. (6)2. Make the
tabble sheet, first we make the suport leg for tabble, we use the
iron pipe with diameter 2 cm and using the cuting process then we
bend this pipe with bending mchine to make that form. Then we make
the more side from tabble suport with the iron pipe with diameter
1.5 cm also use cuting machine and bending machine. And make the
suport plate with iron plate, using cating machine an bending
machine to make that form and we make the connector parts with iron
pipe with diameter 1 cm. Then we joining those parts with welding
process. Then we painting this part.(7)Then the second, we make the
different side support tabble from the iron plate and using cuting
machine to make the plate become smaller then use punch machine to
make the plate have a hole. Then we make the engsel from the tabble
with iron plate also and using punch machine to make the hole and
make that form. And we joining those parts with the poros, then we
painting this part, like the picture. (8)The third, we make the
tabble. Using the multiplex material, then we use the cuting
machine with jigsaw for make the form like on the picture. Then we
use sand paper to make the sureface become clean and put the vinyl
on the top surface then we vernish this tabble. (9)Then the fourth,
we joining those tabble parts, we joining the the support part (8)
with the tabble (9), we use skrew for joining this.(10)Then we
joining the support tabble (7) with the tabble sheet (10) , we use
welding machine to joining this. Like on the picture. (11)3. We
make the backside and the seatside of the chair, first we make the
seaside of the chair. We use wood and cut the wood become the form
and put the sponge on top the wood with glue and we covering with
syntetic leather then use a ruber to block the edge side from the
seatside with strapless.(12)Then we make the backside from the
chair, using same materials with the seatside. Use a wood and cut
become the form and put the sponge with glue and covering with
syntetic leather, and use ruber also to block the edge side of the
backside with the strapless.(13)4. Joining all parts. First we
joining the frame chair (6) with the backside (13) and seatside
(12) chair. On this job we use skrew and bolts to joining those
parts.(14)Then we joining the chair (14) with the tabble sheet
(11), just put the connector from the tabble sheet to the holes
from the support kickframe. And use a rubuer in the hole of the
support kickframe for dicrease the struggle. After finish, take a
bolt as the last steps (our improvement) (15)

CHAPTER 4 CONCLUTION4.1 ConclutionPresident Universitys chair is
an amazing product. Various advantages and comfort than is offered
here. But still there is a lack behind it all. Because nothing is
perfect in this world. In a paper that has been the author of the
previous comment, in making the President University's chair takes
various stages. The total cost of the turns required is also not
small. Naturally, if ultimately the cost we spend comparable with
the comfort that we get. Creating President University's Chair is
part of the engineering design process. Therefore here the author
add some improvements so that the product can be better than
before
