How to transfer a model to Pro/Engineer in the user pre-defined template

Normally, the live transfer command uses default configuration setting when it transfers

modeling history to Pro/Engineer. But, if user set specific environment setting in

Pro/Engineer and want to use it as it is when modeling history is forwarded using live

transfer, you need to define that the application can use the defined environment setting.

Otherwise, the transferring will fail or have an unexpected result. For example, if the

application uses millimeter unit (mm) and default configuration setting of Pro/Engineer is

set as inch unit (in), the result will not be exacted because live transfer uses default

configuration setting of Pro/Engineer and will adjust the modeling history into the default

environment setting.

Through this technical tip, you will understand how to set the user environment setting

and use it when live transfer is working.

To > Pro/E) and check the Pause At option as shown in the image.
