INSTALLATION MANUAL
This document describes the steps to install the RoboMind Desktop Software on your computer.
The exact installation depends on the computer network and software and operating system used. Here we
show how the installation proceeds on a Windows 7 computer.
The minimal system requirements for RoboMind to work properly are:

1. DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE
Download the software from http:/robomind.net/en/download.html
2. INSTALL THE SOFTWARE
Open RoboMindSetup.exe
Click [Run] to allow RoboMind to install.
Click [Yes] on a possible next question to allow the installation process to continue.
3. SELECT YOUR LANGUAGE
Select your language of choice. Afterwards RoboMind will startup in that language.
Click [OK] and then [Next>] to continue with the setup wizard:
4. READ THE LICENSE AGREEMENT
Read the license agreement, select “I accept the agreement”, and Click [Next>]
5. SELECT INSTALLATION FOLDER
Select the folder where RoboMind should be installed and Click [Next>]
6. INSTALL ROBOMIND
Click [Install]
The software will then install.
Click on [Finish]
RoboMind will now be started
.
7. ENTER THE LICENSE KEY
The first time a particular user starts the software it will create a “My RoboMind” folder in the “My
Documents” folder. This way, users can save their own scripts and solutions without interfering with others.
We assume you have successfully installed RoboMind and are starting it for the first time. It will then ask you to
enter a license key.
Copy the license key (“Copy” button or select and copy) from your personal Profile page in the RoboMind
Academy (https://www.robomindacademy.com/go/profile) and enter it in license message box.
If you do not yet have an account create one by registering yourself in the RoboMind Academy. To this end
follow the steps as described here: http://www.robomindacademy.com/go/registration/register

ATTENTION: you can choose whether you would like the license to work as a personal license (current user),
or as a computer license (this computer). The differences between these two types of licenses are:

Valid for everyone using this computer

Valid on different computers Yes, but only for you No, only valid for one computer at the same time
A message similar to the following message should appear after you entered the license code:
Push “OK” and you are good to go!
8. VIEW INFORMATION ABOUT THE LICENSE IN ROBOMIND DESKTOP
If you would like to know what license key you are using and how long it is still valid, push “About RoboMind”
in the top menu under “Help”
This will show the following information about your license:
As you see there is also the option to “Enter license key”. So you do not need to install RoboMind again when
your license has expired. Just copy your new license key here and you are done.
