Grand Prix parking is NOT available on Belle Isle. TIMES Friday, June 1 through Sunday, June 3: • Round-trip shuttles will run continuously from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm • Starting at 4:00 pm each day, all downtown Detroit Cooper Standard Shuttle Buses departing Belle Isle will stop at every parking location in reverse order of pick-up (refer to map) • Guests may board any downtown Detroit Cooper Standard Shuttle Bus to return to their lot PARKING AND SHUTTLE SERVICE PRICES Downtown Detroit: • Round-trip Shuttle Wristband per day is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 12 and under • $5 per vehicle parking at West Jefferson Lots • Parking is $10 per vehicle at Cobo Roof, Renaissance Center area lots and all parking decks

A. ThereisnosanctionedChevroletDetroitBelleIsleGrandPrixparkingavailablenearBelleIsle.PublicparkingshouldoccurattheDowntownPark&Ridelotsonly.ItisnotrecommendedtoparkneartheislandandwalktotheGrandPrix.Illegal parkingwillbestrictlyprohibited.

Q. If I want to visit Belle Isle’s other amenities on the part of the island not involved with the Grand Prix, can I drive on the island?

A. OnFriday,June1,andSaturday,June2,thosewishingtodrivetootherattractionsonBelleIslewillbepermittedtodriveontotheisland,butwillbedirectedawayfromtheGrandPrixareabysecuritypersonnel.

GrandPrixparkingwillNOTbepermittedonBelleIslewithoutpropercredentials.OnSunday,June3,accesstoBelleIslewillbelimitedtovehicleswithproperGrandPrixaccesspasses.

ADA SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE TransportationforindividualswithphysicaldisabilitiesattendingtheChevroletDetroitBelleIsleGrandPrixwillbeavailablethroughouttheweekend.Vansaccommodatinguptotwowheelchairsatonetime(andcompanions)willbeexclusivelydedicatedforthispurposeandwillservicealloftheevent’sofficialparkinglots.

Uponarrival,anyoneneedingthisserviceisaskedtonotifytheLotSupervisor,whowillthenradioforavantobeimmediately dispatchedtotheappropriateparkinglot.

Startingat3pmeachafternoon,severaloftheADAVanswillbestagedonthewestsideoftheCooperStandardShuttleBusLoopforthesesamegueststoreturntotheirparkinglots.

Theferryservicewillbeginat7:00amFriday-SundayandwillleavefromthePortAuthoritydockeveryhouronthehour.ThetriptoBelleIsleisexpectedtotakeapproximately20minutesandwillallowferry-goerstheopportunitytoenjoythepicturesquesceneryoftheDetroitandWindsor,Ontario,Canadariverfrontsalongtheway.ReturntripsfromBelleIslebacktothePortAuthoritywilldepartonthehalfhourfromtheHarbormasterstation,locatednexttotheMacArthurBridgetoBelleIsle.Theferry,whichholdsabout70people,willoperateuntil9:00pmeachnightoftheGrandPrix.
