TRAINING ON HOW TO CREATE A POWER POINT PRESENTATION

What will be Including in the training

• Creating a new Power Point presentation• Changing the theme of a presentation• Adding text to slides• Adding slides to a presentation• Adding images to a presentation• Animating the transition between slides• Creating a slide show for presentation

THE TRAINING WILL INCLUDE A DEMONSTRATION ON TO CREATE A EVACUATION PLAN FOR THE RTC

Creating a new Power Point presentation

• Once in power point you will determine what type of slide layout you want to use that you want to use.

• This is done by going to the top of the toolbar and locating the home menu located right next to file at the very top left corner.

• From here you can pick a slide layout according on how you want it to look.

Creating a new Power Point presentation cont’nd• Each slide layout may be different according to what you are

putting in it.• IE:• Text• Header• Picture with text• Tittle with content or caption• Blank slide

Changing the theme of the presentation

• This can be done by going up to the toolbar and selecting the design menu, 4 in from the top left corner, here you will pick out what theme that you want.

• For this demonstration I chose a simple theme you can make it what ever theme that you want.

ADDING TEXT TO THE SLIDES• This can be done by clicking anywhere in the box of the slides

and start typing your text.

Adding slides to the presentation• Go to the top left menu again and choose the home menu,

here you will see a box with new slide click on new slide this will allow you to add as many slides as you want

• You can also pick the layout of your slides.

ADDING IMAGES TO THE PRESENTATION• This can be done by going to the top toolbar and locating the

insert button and click on it, and chose whether you want to add pictures, clip art or photo album, you can also add shapes, hyper links, text ETC.

ANIMATING THE TRANSITION BETWEEN SLIDES• This is done by going to the toolbar at the top and choosing

the animation’s menu and choosing which animation that you want.

FINALLY CREATING THE SLIDE SHOW FOR PRESENTATION• This is done by going to the slide show menu at the very top

and clicking on it.

• Proceed to the nearest exit and get 50 feet away from building.

2ND FLOOR EVACUATION

• Proceed to nearest stairs DO NOT USE ELEVATOR'S• Locate the nearest exit and get 50 feet away from the building

3rd FLOOR EVACUATION • Proceed to nearest stairs DO NOT USE ELEVATOR'S• Proceed to first floor • Proceed to nearest exit get 50 feet away from the building
