Listen.

As Greek philosopher Epictetus said, “We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.”

Be mindful of your stance and posture.

Make sure that your body language reflects the fact that you're listening to the other person and respect what they

have to say. Making eye contact and smiling are also a plus. 

Craft an atmosphere where everyone’s

ideas are welcome. 

At any work environment, people are going to feel more connected to their job

if they feel their input is being valued. Create an environment where people's

ideas are heard.
