Step One
Draw the outline of the petals of the flowers first.

Next, shade in the yellow center of the flower.
Step 3
Now, draw a dark blue triangle with rounded points on each petal.
Step 4
Then, add a black star in the center of the flower. After that, draw green triangular leaves in between the petals.
Final Flower
On March 18, 1911 the Sego Lily was formally chosen as the Utah State Flower after the government allowed school children to vote on it.
The Sego Lily was important to Utah because the pioneers ate Sego Lily roots when food was scarce.
