So lets get started!
What is Unique Value?
Unique Value is what you or your organization promise to deliver to your
customer.
It is a promise that creates value or loyalty for your organization and sets
your organization apart from its competitors.
Let’s look at some companies you see everyday that have unique value.
Unique Value – Saving you $ -
Unique Value – Fresh food your way-
Unique Value – Dependable & affordable lodging-
Unique value -The information you want, fast-
Unique value-Relaxing space between home & work-
Now that we know what unique value is lets discover yours!
STEP 1: What are you offering?
Do you offer product or a service?
Now define your offer
❏Describe in two sentences or less what your product or service does.
❏Check out your competitors and see how much they charge for the same product or service.
❏Come up with a price that signals the value of your service or product.
STEP 2: Make your offer unique?
How is it different from your competitors?
Make yourself special
❏List 2 to 5 things that make your product or service unique from your competitors.
❏Do some research and found out if those things are important to your customer.
❏Create a new marketing and sales strategy to promote what makes your product or service unique.
STEP 3: Who does your offer speak
to?
Identify your ideal customer
❏Find out their likes and dislikes.
❏How they like to communicate?
❏Their age and where they live?
❏What they love to do for fun?
Step 4: What does your offer promise to do?
State the benefits for your customer
❏Describe how it solves a problem or fulfill a need.
❏Explain the value of your product or service.
❏Prove it! Give demonstrations of your product or service.
