How To Turn Your Blogger/Blogspot Blog Into A Squeeze Page

By Manny M. Viloria of http://TrulyRichPinoy.com and http://AyawKongMagBlog.com

Here’s your guide on how to make your Page (not Post) in Blogger or Blogspot look like a squeeze page (basic, like-a-sheet-of-paper appearance).

This is what some Pages in Blogger look like (take note of the right sidebar):

While this is what a simpler version looks like (without sidebar):

I did not show the Email Signup Form in the above example, because the goal of this tutorial is to show you how to make a Blogspot blog Page look like a squeeze page (without the Header and right Sidebar).

This tutorial assumes you already have a GMail account.

Step 1 – Log into http://blogger.com using your GMail username and password.

Step 2 – Click on the New Blog button (screenshot below):

Step 3 – In the Create a new blog window, type in the Title of your blog (e.g., Squeeze Page Manny Viloria). For the address, use something memorable because that will form part of your *.blogspot.com address. In the Template, click on Awesome Inc., then click on the Create blog button.

Step 4 – Your new blog has just been created. Click on the downward-pointing arrow on the right side, then click on Pages.

Step 5 – Click on the New Page button.

Step 6 – In the rectangle to the right of Page type: Homepage. Click on the HTML tab. In the white rectangle, type your Headline and enter your Email Autoresponder code, then click on the Publish button.

Here are examples of what you can enter in the white rectangle under those Compose | HTML tabs (feel free to copy/paste):

<H1>3 Men Expose A “Simple Money Making System”<br />That YOU Can Use To Earn P25,000<br />up to P100,000 Commission<br />Every Month Starting TODAY </H1> Put your email autoresponder code here (this will be covered in a separate Tutorial).

Or, if you have uploaded an image of a header or banner to the web, and if you took note of the http:// location of that image, you can display that in your Blogger squeeze page.

Here’s another example of HTML that you can copy/paste:

<img src=http://traffic.libsyn.com/mannyviloria/header-simple-money-making-system.jpg> <br /> Put your email autoresponder code here (this will be covered in a separate Tutorial).

So after you’ve entered your text, HTML code, and Email Autoresponder code in that large white rectangle, and after you click on the Publish button…

Step 7 – Open the text file located in http://traffic.libsyn.com/mannyviloria/blogger-template-squeezepage.txt

When it opens in your browser, click anywhere on the text, then press Ctrl+A (to select all the text), then press Ctrl+C to copy the selected text to the memory of your computer.

Step 8 – Return to the tab which contains your Blogger/Blogspot page, and click on Template.

To the right of Permanent, click on the checkbox.

Click on Save… Then click on the Save Changes button.

The Custom Redirect now moves visitors from the main page to the Page that you created.

Go ahead… try visiting your blog which ends in .blogspot.com and you will be automatically be brought to the page that ends in /p/blog-page.html

Oops! We still need to remove the Comment box.

Step 19 – Go back to the tab which contains your blog, then click on Layout (left side).

Step 20 – Click on the Edit link found in the lower righthand corner of the Blog Posts rectangle.
