Tips: Doorbell FAQ
1. Why can’t I get my doorbell paired with my phone?
1) Please check if your WI-FI is 2.4GHz, if your WI-FI is
hidden. The password should be no more than 12 digits without
special symbols.
2) Please make sure the WI-FI signal is strong enough. (When
pairing, the phone and the doorbell should be within 50 feet from
the router.)
3) Please turn up the volume of the mobile phone when pairing.
4) Please make sure the UBELL APP is permitted to use “location”.
5) Please make sure the mobile phone is connected with the 2.4GHz
WI-FI. 6) Please go to the Wi-Fi "router settings" to find the
Wi-Fi settings, and turn off the " Wifi multi-
frequency integration" option to ensure that there will be no
automatic switching to the 5GHz network when the 2.4GWiFi signal is
not poor.
2. Why does my phone fail to receive notification? 1) Please set
the “Accept call” to “Call in” or “Notification”. 2) Please set the
UBELL APP permissions “Location, Notification” on and disable “Lock
screen
cleanup”.
3. Why my PIR sensor doesn’t seem to work? There are 3 levels of
the PIR function, “High/Medium/Low”. Please set the level according
to your requirement.
4. Why does my battery draining out quickly? If the doorbell is
frequently activated, the power consumption will be pretty high.
Also the battery will be draining out much quicker.
5. Why doesn’t my doorbell auto record? The Recording function
only work when the doorbell is activated. It will not keep
recording to save power.
6. Why does my phone keep receiving notification? Please set the
PIR sensitivity to “low” if your doorbell is used in a busy
environment.
7. How to get the doorbell charged? 1) There is a charging port
behind the doorbell. You can get the battery charged just like a
mobile
phone with a USB cord. 2) The doorbell can be directly powered
up by 8-24VAC input.
8. My doorbell is missing the SD card and the battery. The SD
card and batteries are already installed inside the doorbell.
Please remove the battery cover and you can see the batteries and
the SD card slot. Please don’t forget to remove the insulation film
on the negative pole of the battery before using the battery.
