How to Conjugate
Regular –AR – Er - IR Verbs in the
Present Tense
to change a verb to match the subject
of a sentence
Conjugate:
This is a
verb flower.
This flower will help us learn how to conjugate regular verbs in the present tense.
stem
The stem of a verb is its INFINITIVE
form.
The infinitive is the
UNCONJUGATED form of the verb.
It means to _____.
Examples are organizar (to organize), comer
(to eat) and vivir (to live).
The center of a verb is what happens
when you drop its ending.

For example, to find the center of
organizar, drop the –ar.

1. With the flower provided create a conjugation vase
2. Use the six verbs provided(-ar, -er, -ir)
3. Conjugate them in the flower as we did before
4. Color and decorate them and arrange your flower
conjugation vase
5. This is a project grade
6. The project is individual, but every two people will share
a bag containing crayons, scissors and glue. You
become responsible for it and at the end of the project
you must give it back. If something is missing from your
