In this tutorial, you’ll learn


how to build landing pages using


Thrive Landing Pages and Thrive Content Builder


Let’s start!


First, you need to sign up


for a Thrive Themes membership


Go to thrivethemes.com



Scroll down until you see theSee Plans & Pricing button



Click that button



Look for this section on the next page



You can choose a Quarterly or Yearly membership



Once you have chosen your desired membership type,


Click Add To Cart



You will be redirected to the checkout page



Enter the required information



Then click Checkout with PayPal



If you don’t have PayPal, you can still pay using these:


After paying, you need to download and install the plugin


Go back to thrivethemes.com



Click Member Login



Enter your Username and Password



Then click Login



This is your Thrive Themes membership dashboard



Scroll down to the plugins section


Look for Thrive Content Builder & Landing Pages



Click Download



After downloading, upload the plugin to your WordPress site


From your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New



Click Upload Plugin



Click Choose File



From your PC, select the plugin you just downloaded



Click Open



Click Install Now



The plugin has been installed



Now you need to activate the plugin. Click Activate Plugin



Congratulations! The plugin is now activated.



Next, you need to enter your license key


so that you can use this plugin


Go back to your Member Dashboard



Click My Account & License Keys




Copy your license key



From your WordPress dashboard,


Go to Thrive Dashboard > License Manager located on the left

sidebar



Enter the email address you used to sign up


and your license key



Click Activate License



Your license is now activated


Now, let’s build the landing page.


From your WordPress dashboard, go to Pages > Add New



Enter a title then click Publish



After publishing your page, click Edit With Thrive Content Builder



This is the Thrive Content Builder



Click the dropdown and select Choose landing page



This will open the landing page templates



You can choose from the default landing pages



or download templates from the Thrive Template Cloud



You can filter the templates by tag



or if you know what you’re looking for


type it in the search bar


type it in the search bar


Let’s select this one



Scroll down and then click Load Landing Page



Here’s the landing page template



It’s already designed to attract visitors to opt-in


All you need to do is change the content


First let’s change the image


Click on the image



The Image Options panel will show up.



This is like the control panel for that image element


Every element in the Content Builder has one


You also have options to change the border, alignment, etc.



Now, click Change Image



This will open your Media Library



Choose an image from your library or upload one



Once you have chosen an image, click Insert into post



This is the result



Click on the first line of text to edit it



The text element menu will show up



Change the text by deleting it and adding your own



The Content Builder is a visual editor


so you can add or change content


just like the regular WordPress editor, but this is better


Don’t forget to save your changes



You will be reminded to save your work every 10 minutes


To add elements to your landing page


simply choose the element you want to add


from the right sidebar and drag it to the page


Say you want to add an image


Click the image element from the right sidebar


and drag it to the place where you want to add it
