Anamarija – about PKMAnamarija is the first trainee at PKM, I asked her how it is to be an international student on an internship at PKM, and this is what she said:
-PKM is offering an amazing opportunity for students around Europe to do an internship intheir company. As a student I also came to do an internship and I have to say it is one of thebest decisions that I made. Working for PKM offers you the opportunity to really understandthe procedures used in the greenhouse and how everything functions around it. One of thebenefits that you will experience is gaining university knowledge about the job that you willhave to do in the future. This can give you an advantage ahead of other students when youlook for employment. Also one of the advantages is that in your future job you will knowexactly how much time is needed for you and your colleague’s to do the same job. You can,and will be, on shifts at different placements in the greenhouse. The first days are always a bit tough for everyone, but one of the best parts is that the crewand your supervisor will really try hard to make it as wonderful as they can for you. Almosteveryone speaks English really well, so you won’t have any problems finding anyinformation that you need. While doing my internship I’m living in an international environment with other students. This is also a great opportunity to learn a lot about other countries and cultures. Of courseyou will also learn so much about Danish culture and food (which will make you reallyhappy!).
