TINKER TINKER

If you are someone who is genuinely interested in firearms, having a great

perspective and attitude towards those is the first step to becoming an expert.

Bear in mind that such have the potential to harm you and/or other people if

caution and proper handling aren’t observed.

So, how does one become a gun expert?

SAFETY FIRSTSafety first. It is very crucial to know and remember proper firearm safety guidelines. Dealing

with gun parts and anything that has to do with guns is no joke. Being a gun owner comes

with a huge responsibility, and disregarding set rules will result in you bearing the

consequences. Firearms are not toys. These are tools that were introduced to the industry to

do one thing. Always abiding by the basics listed below will ensure a worthwhile and hassle-

free experience:

• Have a “firearms are loaded at all times” mentality; even ‘unloaded guns kill.’ What does

this mean? It means that removing the mag doesn’t verify that the gun is ‘safe’ unless you

have thoroughly checked the last cartridge on the firing chamber and have verified that it is

completely unloaded.

• Only keep your finger on the trigger when you’re ready to shoot

• Always point your gun towards a safe direction unless you are willing to destroy something

(ie. Targets)

• Recognize what your target is and what’s behind it

• Keep your gun in a safe place and make sure that it is away from children’s reach

explanation about gun

rights.

Educating yourself by

subscribing to gun

magazines – online or

as well.

SHOOT HABITUALLY

Ooooh! Here’s a

new object that just

“appeared” on

the right!

… And another, on

the left!

GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY

One of the best ways to appreciate gun mechanisms/functions is to

disassemble your own firearm. Learning to assemble and disassemble your

gun will give you a sense of familiarity and enlightenment towards it.

Shooting habitually at the range will give you a better grasp of the latest gun models, the popular ones that are frequently being used and the manufacturers who made them.
