How to Access Colorado MMA (Multi-Mission Aircraft) Data
through the EGP (Enterprise Geospatial Portal) after Login:

Click SituationAnalyst (SA) from the
Quick Launch Menu.
Read what the various buttons
control and then click Launch SA.

Click OPS from the menu. This
launches a new window with various
EGP Views.
Click “I&R” Intelligence & Resources
Zoom into your area of interest, and then click “Manage Layers”.
A new window appears with a Table of Contents. Layers that have a Blue line next to them are on and
layers that are off have no “Blue” line and are shaded out. Turn layers on and off to reduce clutter in
your viewer.

Indicates the layer
is On, or visible.
Indicates the layer is
OFF, or not visible.
Click Tools to launch a new menu.

Click Aircraft Intel. When MMA is not active or not currently collecting data over a wildfire, the Aircraft
Intel Screen displays a Status: Inactive. Select an incident or mission if you know the date, time, and
aircraft. Once you make your choice click Advanced View. This loads any data related to that mission.
Note – Times are in UTC for data collected with the MMA.

Click Aircraft Intel for MMA data.
Click Satellite Intel for Satellite
Imagery that has been collected for
fires.
Select a Mission (when you know
Date, UTC Time, and Aircraft #)
Select an Incident (Fire Name)
Inactive -> MMA is not airborne or
collecting data.
Once you Select an Incident, click
Zoom. This zooms the EGP to the
Incident. Then click -Advanced View.

Mission is the Date, UTC Time,
and Aircraft Number
Incident Name
Perimeter “digitized” by camera
operator on aircraft.
Hot Spots are heat detections from
the Thermal camera. Spots are
placed in SA Viewer by the camera
operator.
Scroll down the Table of Contents and hover the pointer over an image, several new buttons appear.

- Warped imagery. Imagery that is warped or “draped” over terrain. May result in the image
appearing to be stretched. When selected, a gray box appears in the SA Viewer and image loads. The
imagery may have stretching and distortion as it a quick “rectification” with the terrain.
- Unwarped imagery. Imagery is a “Chip” of what is captured with the camera. No terrain or
geography metatags are associated with the imagery. Imagery looks very different than warped as it is a
capture of what the camera is viewing; look angle, altitude, and no cardinal direction reference.
-Download imagery. Imagery is downloaded to your local computer or drive.
- Zoom. Zoom to where image is spatially within SA. Warped imagery will not load
You can select videos and download them for viewing. In most cases the SA Viewer should re-center to
