There are various classrooms, teachers and support staff all under the direction of a leader. In a child care setting this leader, known as the Director, needs to be a strong, compassionate and caring individual, up for the challenge of dealing with anything that comes her way.

Bright Start O’Fallon is lucky enough to have found all those qualities and more in our Director, Cathy Wall. With Cathy’s experience, creativity, and passion for making a difference, our program has never been better! Cathy joined us at Bright Start O’Fallon with over 18 years of experience as a director. With a degree in Early Childhood Education, she worked for a corporate child care center chain, as well as owned her own center prior to joining our Bright Start family.

Since she has been here, she has built a team of patient, creative, and caring teachers, implemented a strong curriculum base, and began offering several after-hours and weekend events to the community. Cathy has taken basic preschool curriculum to the next level by introducing concepts such as the “family meal” to the center, working to help reinforce manners, cooperation, and social skills in an applicable setting.

Additional activities such as Spanish and Hip-Hop classes and a calendar full of adventures for summer camp demonstrate that, when it comes to finding new ways to learn through play, her creativity knows no bounds! When it comes to choosing a child care center for your child, there’s more than meets the eye. Finding a center that has a variety of teachers to help encourage your child to grow and learn is essential for a good, quality experience for both you and your child.
