Important Note
If you have confidential data I suggest that you
encrypt it with a separate program BEFORE
backing it up with Mozy
That way you will have DOUBLE protection

Review the files Mozy found
Mark any other files you want from
this list
Important Note
• Mozy shows common files such as
Documents, emails, Favorites, Music and such
• Following videos will show you how to select
any other unique file as well (most people will
not need it, but maybe you will…)
Confirm to start Network Speed for
the backups
Speed test Passed!
Adjust backup speed
It is Recommended to run initial
backup NOW
Mozy will minimize now in the Task
Bar (Bottom of the screen)
This message will Pop Up when backup
is completed
Lets test our backup by deleting a
favorite from our browser
Click on Favorites, Organize Favorites
and then delete “MSN.com”
Confirm Deletion
Checkout – MSN.com is gone!
One of the ways to restore is click on
“My Computer” and then “MozyHome
Remote Backup” Drive
Mozy shows you the drives it backed
up
Select the Directory you want to
restore a file from (Mozy shows only
what you told it to backup)
Navigate until you get to the backup
file you want to restore
Select the file and Click on “Restore”
for the original location or “Restore
To” for a separate new restore location
Restore Starts…It might take time as
Mozy brings the files over the Internet
Mozy will tell you when it is done
