Training Package Design is Changing
/ Stakeholder concern regarding the size of Training Packages
/ Repetitive difficult to understand not in plain English
/ Not always accessible or relevant
/ Not flexible enough
/ Too generic and ambiguous

Areas of reform1. Definition of competency & knowledge -“…
consistent application of knowledge and skill to the standard of performance required in the workplace. It embodies the ability to transfer and apply skills and knowledge to new situations and environments.”
2. Flexibility – increased flexibility - 1/3 or more electives without increasing size qualification, up to 1/6 electives can come from other training packages or AC
