My Lips Attunes For Praise…

God prepares praise for Himself.

Psalm 51:15 – “O Lord, open my lips, that my mouth may declare Your praise.”

Hebrews 13:15“Through Him then,

let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.”

God tunes our hearts/lips for praise

Isaiah 57:19 – “Creating the praise of the lips. Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near,” says the Lord, “and I will heal him.”

God Is Worthy Of Praise But He does not merely wait for

praise – He works in the world to produce it….

Ephesians 1:5-6 -- He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

Ephesians 1:12, 14…to the end that we who

were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory…. [Spirit] who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

How does that benefit us?Sheer joy in

praising God…And to His

glory I’ll devote the remnant of my days!
