EWB Bracelets Fundraiser

Fluor’s EWB Bracelets Fundraiser
o Sold bracelets at lunch time for 2 weeks (in late August) as EWB fundraiser; also highlighted “night at museum” fundraiser in late
September o Wearing bracelet on on-Fridays or Thursdays before off-Fridays
allowed jeans wear for the following month (4x) o $10 per bracelet
o Project of Fluor’s GROW (Growing Representation and Opportunity for Women) organization for EWB funds related to El Salvador
program – volunteers to sell bracelets came from GROW; 2 people per shift; 2 shifts @ lunch time; 4 days / week
o Purchased bracelets from Wristbands With A Message; many vendors available – cost was $245 - 500 @ 49¢ each, including artwork.
Vendor donated another 500.
o Had posters relating to El Salvador program and Night at Museum
o Netted $4,250
