Our main focus at Fairmont State University is nutrition. Our StarChef program, an interactive menu that highlights healthier options, provides the most current and nutritional information for daily menus.
HEALTHIER SELECTION
Fairmont State University’s Dining Program and a Registered Dietician will work with parents, school nurses, teachers, and health care providers to help manage students’ food allergies and special diets by:

Working with physicians, dietitians, or qualified nutrition specialists to manage dietary substitutions
Knowing where emergency medications are stored and knowing how they should be administered in case a student has an allergic reaction

MEAL PLANS & RATESResidence Hall students (excluding University Terrace apartments) are required to participate in their choice of a meal plan for the academic year.
Flex Dollars are accepted at Starbucks locations, Chick-fil-A, Chilaca, and select vending machines. Flex Dollars are non-refundable and expire when the semester ends.
Students are responsible for monitoring their own account balances and for all purchases made with Flex Dollars. All deposits and transactions on a Flex Dollar account are final.
