Her job is to prepare the hotel rooms for the arrival of the guests.

Her job is to keep the room clean and the guests happy while they stay at the

hotel.

She has to stretch and exercise muscles.

Their job is to take food orders from the guests.

Then they take the order to the kitchen.

When the food is prepared they take the food from the kitchen to the guests at

their table.

While the guests are eating, they should quietly ask if everything is alright.

At the end of the meal they take the check (USA) or bill (UK) to the guests.

They take the money or credit card to the cashier and return with the change or

receipt.

Barman Barmaid

Their job is to take orders from the guests for drinks and alcohol.

They take orders for soft drinks. (Coke, Pepsi, Fanta, 7 Up, ginger ale)

They take orders for beer. (Ale, lager or stout)

They take orders for wine. (Red, white or sparkling)

They take orders for liquor or spirits. (whisky, vodka, gin, tequila, rum)

They make mixed drinks or cocktails. (mixes of spirits, liqueurs, wines, soft drinks

and fruit juices)

Cashier

She usually works at the reception desk or in the restaurant.

She takes the bill (UK) or the check (USA).

She takes money, cash, or a credit card.

She gives change for money or cash.

She gives a receipt for money, cash, or credit card.

She will also accept a cash card/ money card/ bank card/ debit card.

The fitness instructor helps guests with their work-outs.

The Workout Leader leads groups of guests through exercise routines.

Swimming Instructor Lifeguard

The swimming instructor is a swimming teacher.

The instructor teaches guests how to swim and be safe in the water.

The lifeguard watches the guests in the swimming pool.

The lifeguard must know about life saving methods.

The lifeguard must be able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

The chef is the boss in the kitchen.

The chef cooks and makes sure that ALL food leaving the kitchen is delicious.

There are many types of chef - Chef de cuisine, executive chef, chef manager,

Gardener Cleaner

The gardener looks after the plants: flowers, trees, bushes, hedges and grass.

He cuts the grass, picks the flowers, trims the hedges and bushes

and prunes the trees.

The cleaner cleans/wipes/washes the windows.

The cleaner polishes metal.

The cleaner sweeps the paths/footpaths/walkways.

Repairman, Engineer, Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Carpenter, Plumber, Painter.

The electrician works with electricity.

The carpenter works with wood.
