The patterns and bright colors of this culture are appear - ing in the local decor, super-imposed on the clas - sical architecture of 19th century DC. This will be continued with the surface treatment of the hotel where the geometric pat - terns and vibrant colors of Ethipioa will make up the skin covering the classical form common to the area. The form is influenced by a mix of the local and re - gional forms common to DC; the corbeled cornices of local homes and sym - etry of federal architec - ture, and high end detials of modern hotel design as seen in the George Hotel.
