Feedback on Print Advertisement and Digipak

Print Advertisement 1 & 2

Do you like the design?Many people said that they liked the design but it did not resemble a print ad to them. This is a vital piece of feedback that prompted me to totally redesign my print ad to make it simpler and more conventional.

Which one do you prefer?

Most people said they preferred the second add as the text was easier to read, however the centring on the first ad was better. The text may have been difficult to read on the first ad as I gave the text a red ‘stroke’ outline effect. There is some text on my digipak with the same effect, which I will remove to make it more legible.

Should I change the 3D ‘AN’ logo to something else?

Most people liked the 3D logo but someone had the idea of putting the logo from my digipak plan on my print advert. I think this is a good idea as not only will the print ad remain eye-catching, but it will also link to the design of the digipak.

Should I lose the blue border?Everyone liked the blue border, and I think it holds the elements of the image together well.

Do you think the fire effect works?Everyone liked the fire effect as it looks nice and links to the video.

Should I lose the fire, or change the blue effect or something?

Someone said that if the fire being blue has a purpose, then keep it, otherwise make it the same colour as the rest of the fire. As the blue colour does not really have a purpose, I will change it to the colour used for the rest of the fire.

Do you like the ‘lightning bolt’ things?

Everyone liked the fire lightning bolts. They were designed so that when the digipak is partially open, they form this shape:
