Hospitality

Guests should feel comfortable and at home in hotels and restaurants. Vitra has always followed designer Charles Eames’s motto “Be a good host!” and interpreted the furniture manufacturer’s relationship with its customers as the relationship between a host and his guests. This attitude comes into its own when we help hotels and gastronomic outlets offer their guests the best.

Aluminium GroupCharles & Ray Eames

The Aluminium Chair is one of the greatest furniture designs of the twentieth century. Charles and Ray Eames originally designed it in 1958 for the private residence of an art collector in Columbus, Indiana (USA).
