Hosanna! The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!” John 12:12-13 Next week Jesus finishes his path to the cross. Palm Sunday was like a parade. Many people loved him and shouted Hosanna, which means “Save us, we pray.” They thought Jesus would lead them as a king, that he would take over the country. They were in for a surprise. Pray one word today: Hosanna. Jesus saves you from your sin. Holy Week, Holy Ground Then [the LORD] said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” Exodus 3:5 When Moses came close to God, he took off his sandals because it was a holy place. It was a way to show that this place was special. This week, Holy Week, is also very special. As we walk with Jesus to the cross, we may spend more time in the Bible and in church. That’s our holy ground. Do you know when your church has Holy Week services? We Follow Him In Love And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:2 Only a few days from today, we will remember Jesus dying on the cross. Why would he do such a painful thing? Because he loves us so much, he took all our pain on himself. Hosanna! The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!” John 12:12-13

Next week Jesus finishes his path to the cross. Palm Sunday was like a parade. Many people loved him and shouted Hosanna, which means “Save us, we pray.” They thought Jesus would lead them as a king, that he would take over the country. They were in for a surprise.

Pray one word today: Hosanna. Jesus saves you from your sin.

Holy Week, Holy GroundThen [the Lord] said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” Exodus 3:5

When Moses came close to God, he took off his sandals because it was a holy place.

Ephesians 5:2
