NEW BOOKS IN LIBRARY
Although it is a fiction book, Waves of Mercy written by
Lynn Austin, tells the story of Dutch immigrants who settled
in the Holland, Michigan area during the 1890’s. With the
help of Rev. Van Raalte the Reformed Dutch Christians left
the persecution in the Netherlands and major obstacles and
settled in various communities in the United States. This story
focuses the lives of those who settled at Holland, Michigan.
Saving My Assassin by Virginia Prodan, is a true story of a
young girl who lived during the brutal communist regime of
the Romanian government during the 1980’s Virginia escapes
after being tortured, beaten and being placed under house
arrest. Discover how this young woman realizes beyond a
shadow of a doubt that nothing is impossible with God.
