7 Storing Automatically Sampling Data

To Start 1. Select "Auto Data IN Start' from lhe SENSOR menu.

2. Sei lhe lnterval, Wait and Term as with lhe instrument itself. (See "4.2 Automatic data storage" in lhe U-20 Series Operation Manual.)

3. Click on the 'OK" button. Toe sensor probe will start storing data.

Note»+ Setting beyond lhe usable range will cause an error.

To Stop 1. Select "Auto Data IN Stop' from lhe SENSOR menu.2. Click on the "OKº button in lhe confirmation box. Data stonng will stop.

9 Reading Data from Files

1. Select "OPEN FILE" Iram lhe FILE menu.

2. Select a file. The selected data will be dlsplayed. Con1- The displayed DATA No. in each file starts from No. 1.

3. Select "CLOSEº Iram lhe DATA menu.

1 O Data G raph This sample software allows you to display data graphs per data file read from lhe sensor probe. The graph display can be selected Irem lhe following two types.

• X-Y graph (Graph of change by time)

1. Read me data from (8 Reading Data from lhe Sensor Probe) and (9 Reading Data fromFiles].

.Select "GRAPHº Iram the DATA menu .

• Selecting "CLOSE" Iram lhe DATA menu will return to Main window .

1. Read the data trom [8 Read,ng Data from the Sensor Probel and (9 Reading Data fromFiles).

.Select "DEP COLOR" from lhe DATA menu .

• Selecbng "GLOSE" from lhe DATA menu will return to Maln w1ndow.

• Changing lhe upper limít and the lowest limit 11alue wíll switch lhe setting automatically ai regu­lar intervals.

• Selecling • Data Addition" Irem lhe DATA menu will add graph in other files.(Vou can add up to 20 graphs.)

• Selecting "Data Clear' Iram lhe DATA menu will delete ali graphs.• The data oi GPS is saved w1th each measurement values. Please select "GPS Posibon· and

lhe graph will show lhe data based on latitude and longitude.

11 Printing Windows

Vou can print windows in wt,ich F!LE menu can be accessed • 1. Select •PRINTER SETUP" from lhe FILE menu to set up lhe printer íf necessary.2. Select "PRINT WINDOW" lrom lhe FILE menu. The currentiy d1splayed window will be pnnted

out.

8 Reading Data from the Sensor Probe Vou can read data (manually/automatically) stored ln the sensor p robe's memory and save 1t as a file. 1. Select 'OPEN Data• from the SENSOR menu. The currently stored Data wdl be displayed.

2. Double-click lhe Data file that you want to read. The data wilh lhe last DATA No. in lhe data file wlll be displayed.

key. Note»+ When reading data in one session of automatic storage, ali data is read. Each data will take

approx. 1 second to read. For example, lt tal<es approx. 10 seconds to read one data file wíth 10 data

3. Auto stored data can be selected and displayed as graphs. Select graph items to d1splay graphs. lt is also possible to select data for displayed measured values by inputting a Data No.

4. Select "CLOSE' from lhe DATA menu to return to lhe Main wíndow. T he selected data and graph will be displayed on lhe Main window.

5. To sa11e data as a file, select "SAVE FILE" from lhe FILE menu.Con1- AII lhe data read from lhe data files are treated as one data group when severa! data files are

read at once. Therefore, the graph is d1splayed by the combinaMn of severa! data files. The data is saved in one file.

12 Software Closing Select "END" lrom lhe FILE menu ln the MAIN wlndow. The software will dose.
