From issuing your petition for divorce to obtaining the Decree Absolute which dissolves yourmarriage can take approximately 4 to 6 months but this is dependent on your partner notdefending the petition and replying to your petition within the given time table. If your partnerfails to cooperate we will take steps to prove service of the petition upon your partner to ensureyour divorce can proceed.
2. How much will it cost me?
We will x the cost of your divorce so that you know exactly how much it will cost you. You may have the option of seeking costs from your partner.
3. How do I resolve who stays in the house and how much income, capital andpension I will receive?
You and your partner are required to provide full and frank disclosure of your income, capitalassets and pension provision. With this information, we can advise you what you are likely to achieve by way of settlement. We will prepare the necessary Court documents to recordany agreement reached to ensure the agreement is legally binding and enforceable. To help
negotiations you can attend mediation or enter the collaborative process. Our aim is to keepmatters as amicable as possible for you and to avoid Court proceedings. If however you can notagree or your partner will not provide the information required, you can issue Court proceedings
to resolve this matter.
4. What happens if we can’t agree arrangements forour children?
If possible it is better to agree between you where thechildren live and how much contact the other parent haswith the children, if you cannot agree then you could both
attend mediation to facilitate discussions and assist youin agreeing the arrangements. If that is not successful
then either one of you could make an applicationto the court for a contact or residence order,to decide where the child will live or to dealwith a specic issue, for example where thechild goes to school. Child maintenance wouldalso need to be paid to the parent who has thefull time care of the child. This can be dealtwith through the Child Support Agency. The
amount depends on your income and how many children you have, and also depends onthe number of overnight stays you have thechildren for.

Now is a time when we come face to face withhow our lives are progressing year on year. Weglimpse where we are at and when we dont likewhat we see , we declare a couple of New Year
resolutions to make ourselves feel better...andthen we settle back into our comfortable habits.
One of my clients Melody started last year asa size 20. She was not only overweight but inserious debt , living in a cluttered shared homeand she had no job and no money. She had beenliving this way for years before she really took a good hard look at herself and her life. Sherealised that she had to do more than make aNew Years resolution. She had to change her
habits, her lifestyle and even the way she wasthinking.
The trouble is that its difcult to think differently all by yourself. Thats why itsimportant to get some support , a personaltrainer, a nutritionist or a life coach. You needsomeone who s going to show you a new way of thinking and being; someone who s going tokeep you on track when the going gets tough andsomeone who will see you always as the person
you aspire to be rather than the person you areright now . Inside Melody’s huge frame and
greasy hair was a pretty irty young girl lookingto have some fun in life!
Once Melody made the commitment to changeher life , all she needed to do was take each stepat a time. She started a diet. She got herself a
small part time job and she moved home toa cleaner smarter shared home. She learnt tosay what she wanted and what she didnt want. She learnt to go out and party without drinkingalcohol. She learnt to enjoy a family Sunday lunch eating only the healthy food that she hadrequested. And bit by bit the weight droppedoff and her self esteem grew. She found herself a better job and started her own business. Shestarted to buy pretty clothes in smaller sizes andthen she attracted a gorgeous loving boyfriend.
She went from a size 20 to a size 10. She wentfrom having no money to earning over £1000a day in her own business. Melody turned herlife around in less than a year. Why did she waityears to make that change? Maybe she wasntready before then? Maybe she was too scared tobe slim pretty and happy? Maybe things had toget really bad before she was prepared to jumpout of her comfort zone and change her habits.
Take a look at your life . If something is not
working , now is the time to get real and makea commitment to the you that deserves better. You can be do or have whatever you wish. Itjust takes a decision, a commitment and awillingness to let go of the “old you”. Every day that passes where you ignore your truewishes has an impact on your self esteem andcondence. Whether you really want to give upsmoking, lose weight, change your job or earnmore money, now is the time to do it. If Melody
can do it , so can you. Have your best year ever !

Ythl addtns brng adddstrngth t Rangrs’ sqadFoLLoWING a lng layff due t the bad weather at the end f last year the seasn kicked
off again in January. The rst two Hoole Rangers FC 1st team xtures played in January were
representative of the season so far, with a fantastic 5-1 win in the Challenge cup against West
Cheshire side Upton AA Reserves, followed by the worst display of the season, losing on penalties
after extra time against Chester and District Division 2 side Uberlube in the Senior cup. In the
other games played to-date we suffered a 1-0 defeat by current league leaders Kelsall, the goalcoming in the last ve minutes of a closely contested game, and a 9-3 victory over Crossways.
After the signing f nine new players ver the Christas perid, Hle Rangers FC reserves
used their January xtures as trials, looking at how the new players can gel with the existing
squad. Despite losing three games, there were some really good signs that the new young players
will signicantly improve the quality of the team, and hopefully resolve the Saturday morning
frenzy of phone calls trying to get 11 players on the eld.
The number of players turning up for training on Tuesdays from 6-8pm on New Scene all weather
area is grwing week by week, with re than 20 nw the nr. We are therefre lking fr
sponsors, or internal fundraising events to allow the purchase of additional oodlights so we can
utilise the full area.In conjunction with Chester and District Football League committee and Councillor Reggie
Jnes, we held a eeting with CheshireWest and Chester Cuncil t see hw t iprve the
pitches generally in Chester, with my focus specically on our home pitch at Limewood elds,
which suffers badly with drainage prbles. one f the ptins we are explring is whether Hle
Rangers can lease the Limewood elds pitch which would allow us to take more control of the
playing area, and pssible lk fr funding t iprve / extend the current drainage syste.

Why do AM radio stations keep broadcasting in the afternoon?
I HAD alrady dcidd that this yar I was kping th Nw Yar clbrations low ky.
What I didn’t bargained for was the u and spending the night on the sofa wrapped in a
dvt watching Jls Holland on TV whil th nighbors thrw a party that spilld ot
into th strt as wll as thir backyard. I sat listning to thm lagh and clink glasss to
varios toasts and wondrd what I wold hav bn doing if I hadn’t bn takn ill.
At idnight I was aware that the usic had subsided and when I lked ut f the windw
the sky was full f lanterns. With y duvet wrapped tightly arund y shulders I std in the
backyard and watched the glw f peples wishes lift ff int the sky. The rantic in e waredat the thught f the aunt f dreas the peple f Hle had let lse and nw nly the n
seeed able t catch a glipse f.
Last year I had written yself a letter and sealed it up, tucking it int the bx f decratins
as they were stred away fr anther year. I had pulled it ut a few weeks ag when we had
decrated the tree and had tucked it behind the clck n the antelpiece. As the last f the
lanterns faded into the night sky, I came back into the warmth and opened my letter. It was lled
with the same stuff I wrote every year about health and happiness, the usual stuff you’d say
t peple at New Year and it als entined y reslutins. Typically, I had written dwn y
list f gd intentins, sealed the up and had instantly frgtten abut the the ent the
decratins were dwn.
S this year I decided I was ging t be re rigrus. I was ging t ake reslutins that Icould keep and be proud of myself for keeping. I decided ve was more than enough and easily
anageable and s set abut writing the dwn and sealing the int the new letter ready t be
read next year. I pted t walk re and leave the car at he. I vwed t keep an eye n y
prtin sizes and stay away fr takeaway fds. I intended t stay in tuch with peple re, t
thrw pen the lines f cunicatin and write, eail r call y friends and faily a little re
ften. I wrte that I was ging t keep n tp f the washing up and d y bit arund the huse
and lastly I decided that this was the year I needed to nally get shot of the belly and look good in
the photos for the wedding this coming December.
Pleased with y reslutins, I decided nt t entin the t anybdy else. Like blwing ut the
candles n a birthday cake, I thught that entining the wuld sehw jinx the. As the tree
was flded away and stred under the stairs, s t were y reslutins.
Heading int Faulkner Street the fllwing day, I et the neighbur wh had thrwn the party. He
was looking a little worse for wear but was in a tracksuit and was jogging back from the Co-op.
“Wow!” I said. “You’ve started the new year as you mean to go on.”
He ashed me a smile and then vomited onto his trainers. Maybe a build up to the resolutions
was a better idea. So with that in mind I continued to purchase some bread (healthy multi-seeded
stuff) and milk (so skimmed it was nearly transparent) and then lled the rest of my basket with
the cut price left ver Christas stdge and set abut eating y way thrugh the reinder f the
weekend. Well, if I a ging t start walking everywhere and healthy eating, I a ging t need
t build up y strength. Pass e that Pain Au Chclate and a packet f Cheese and onin. oh
and that caramel slice from the deli that’s in the fridge but you better make that cola a diet cola,I’ve got resolutions to uphold!

Leave some in where youwant them but remove thosethat have seeded themselvesbetween paving slabs.Mulching all borders with alayer of well rotted manure 2inches deep around all yourplants each year would helpto keep weeds down, addnutrients to the soil, retainmoisture and improve thesoil structure. The wormswill take it down into the soileventually.
Also do your nal pruning of shrubs and take out the dead
foliage from perennials. Rose
bushes should be prunedin March so cut out spindly growth and prune back main stems quite hard to anoutward facing bud. Thengive the roses a feed of rosefertiliser and mulch aroundthe roots with a layer of wellrotted manure or compost.
Start planting vegetableseeds under glass or on awindowsill. Towards theend of the month, you canplant out your rst early seed potatoes provided they have little shoots about half an inch long. Dig a trench 9inches deep and put a layerof well rotted compost in thebase of the trench. Plant ourpotatoes about 1 foot apartand cover over with soil. If you only want a few plants, potatoes can be grown inlarge pots or plastic bags.
Look out for the rst owers
of spring with the daffodilsand crocuses, oweringcurrent Ribes sanguineum, and forsythia. The winterjasmine, Jasminumnudiorum can be trained asa wall shrub if kept clippedand will have lovely yellow owers in mild weatherthroughout winter. If you
like foliage plants look outfor the unfurling buds of thevarious types of euphorbia. Some are small such asEuphorbia amygdaloidesPurpurea with dark redfoliage whilst others willmake a plant about 3 feetin size with blue grey/green
foliage and yellowy greenbottlebrush bracts. Smallerperennials such as PrimulaGold Lace will also makean appearance with theirchocolate brown petalsedged with yellow.
